The Tafçira del Mancebo de Arévalo is a collection of religious Islamic texts, dated in the XVIth Century, written for the moriscos in Aragon, in order not to lose their elemental religious practices. The author seems to be familiar with Jews and Hebrew texts, which was not usual among moriscos. The manuscript present beautiful decorations in dark brown, yellow and red ink, is written on watermarked paper and bounded in brown leather, lightly burned in its external part, with three knots on the spine. The codex has been partially studied several times and edited by Teresa Narváez Córdova.
